Apparently there was an option on the 203-14 mustangs to have lights in the bottom of the exterior mirrors that would shine the outline of the running pony on the ground. What option had to be ordered to get these and when did they light?

Mine has them. I think it was part of the Pony Package. They are neat, but after 2 years they are starting to get small scratches that show up on the ground.

If they are like the puddle lights that were on my Wife's 99 Explorer Sport they would light whenever either door would be opened. I think they are cool, I wish I could figure how to disassemble the side mirrors on my Ranger I would install some using LED's.
