  • 2005 drivers door drain

Hope everyone on the East coast made it through the Tropical storm OK! I can hear water sloshing around in my drivers door after the tropical storm and suspect the drain is blocked. Can someone point me to where the drain is? I have a bad back and knees or else I'd just root around on the ground and try to find it...getting old sucks....Thanks everyone!

They are usually where the door skin meets the structure of the door. They are usually a rubber flap that lets the water out but stops road dust from coming in. When I need to see an area that I can’t get to easily I use a mirror or even snap a picture with my cell phone, hope this helps.

And the cowl plugs were completely blocked! Got those pulled and clean ( and a million gallons of water poured out both!). Now hopefully all I will have is one pesky small leak from either the convertible top or the right rear quarter window. Have to wait for a good rain again and go sit and watch I guess.....Thanks for all your help Steve!!!!!
