  • Converting a I6 to 5.0 Question?

I am converting an I6 to a 5.0 from a donor fox body, do I need an Engine Frame Bracket kit (link below)?

Or will the donor car have this already?

The fox body will have brackets to fit the engine to a fox body frame member, not for an earlier Mustang, so you'll need brackets like the ones you highlighted.

I have a spare set of the frame brackets if you are interested I can sell them to you for $70.00 + shipping. They have been blasted & painted already.

I'll bet your blasted and painted originals will fit better than a reproduction part that is most likely made in China.

...and are made of better steel, too.

I did a calculate shipping on USPS.com & it came to 12.35 for a medium flat rate box from the post office. I will double check that & get back to you.
                  Mike.
