  • I painted the headers. It's tight but they fit. I want to get it running and check for problems before I get them coated.

            • After a little modifying of the headlight buckets I got the headlights with built in turn signals to fit.

              • Rusty,
While the look of eliminating the turn signals from the valance is kinda cool, how the heck is anyone going to be able to actually see the turn signals with the bright light of those headlamps blinding them? I realize this car is not intended as a daily driver, but..............? And is that just dust on the grill, or is the black/charcoal gray finish due for a re-fresh?
                Just Curious?

I plan on using this as my daily driver unless someone offers me a lot of cash!! I have no idea if you will be able to see the turn signals but I think the one's in the rear are more important.

                    • I hooked up the battery in the trunk (I still need to hook up the ground cable to the engine) to see what works. The Ron Francis trunk mounted battery kit has two ground gables one small short one that I have going to the body and a large long one that they want mounted to a bell housing bolt. So far the AC 3 blower speeds work, taillights, turn signals, and headlights.

I have a problem with the lights in the dash flashing when the key is off and the steering column harness is hooked up.

                          • I installed the battery ground cable from the trunk mounted battery to the engine block and cured most of my electrical problems.
