      • Yesterday I made a small L bracket & painted it black. Today I mounted it to the flange where the cowl & the firewall are welded together, cut the hose to length & mounted the fluid reservoir.

I am hoping so. Earlier I ordered a dual electric cooling fan for the 69 Coupe & it arrived yesterday, broken due to no packing. I e-mailed the company I purchased it from & they opened up a discrepancy report & that could take 1-2 days & they are addressing the packing problem so when they send me a replacement it does not happen again. The Contour dual cooling fan assembly fits the 24" radiator almost perfectly. One of the mounting tabs were broken off (which I was going to trim off anyway) & about a 1" piece from the shroud.

Thanks Ryan. Friday I received the replacement cooling fan assembly, & today to try to keep my mind off of our departed pup I spent a few hours out in the garage. I made mounting brackets for the fan assembly & mounted to the radiator.

                  • Mike,
Do you know just how much juice the pair of fans draw?
Do they both switch on at the same time or one at a time?
Will you wire them to a thermostat switch or just a manual on/off switch?

                    Ryan

                      Ryan,
I am going to wire them through 2 fan controller & it will be controlled by a temp probe. I have read thew draw 45-50 amps on start up & 30-35 amps & less while running. I am also installing a 1 wire 100 amp alternator. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/flx-31165

                        • I have been ordering some misc electrical parts for the upcoming rewire of the 69 Coupe. I ordered a Ford inertia switch, & RL44 relay, for the electric fuel pump for the EFI system, Jegs # - 10570 temp controlled dual fan wiring harness & relay kit, new starter solenoid, & I already received the pigtails for the dual cooling fans. All I have to do now is order the AAW # - 510177 classic update series wiring harness kit. I also ordered the metal rear seat to trunk divider panel.
