  • Info on these BBF 429 valve covers?

    Fellas;

    I'd like to know what year(s) TFS had them produced and anything else on them. They are fairly heavy cast-aluminum and look like:

    They measure ~ 4 3/8" deep from the center to the mounting flange. I'm not sure if these would be considered 'tall covers' or not. There are no oil deflectors inside, so I think I'll need to locate some baffled vents in order to use them. The vent/fill openings are smooth and 1.125" diameter, so I suppose the push-in style would be the way to go.

    Has anyone out seen covers like this before and if so, can you shed any information on them?

    Thanks in Advance!
    Ryan

    Circa late 80's Ryan.

    We have some baffled grommets that will work with those covers.
    You can use the breathers of your choice with them.

      Alex,

      Cool.... I'll send ya PM regarding your baffled grommets.

      Do you know if TFS ever offered any breathers for these covers?

        They used to, I do not believe that they had any logo on them.
