  • back up camera

I did a bit of research & I found a small unit that was in the top 10 reviewed back up camera / monitor. i also found the best price for the unit on E Bay.
so for $50 including all the other items needed to install it, there is a back up camera in my coupe.
it is a Pyle PLCM44. I chose this unit for the review & small camera that included a mounting bracket.

I would post some pictures but I am locked out of my flickr account & the pics are to big to transfer from my puter

I bought one a while ago to put in my van, I haven't gotten around to installing it yet.

A great invention, but takes a lot of getting used to and trusting. Especially after (me) having 55 years of looking in side view and rear view mirrors. But too many horror stories of parents running over their little kids, while backing out of their driveways. Careless yes, but still horrible.
The back up camera on my Linc' Navigator will also mute the radio, once it begins getting close to a person or obstacle.

So many vehicles now you cant see much out of the rear view mirror any more. Speaking of which, man one of them would be great on my '70 fasbtack since you cant see crap out the back window. LOL
