    WOW STEVE!
Thanks for sharing that. Given that's not my usual style of music to play or listen to, I never would have "stumbled across" that song without your sharing it. our band, rocknblues.org has a gig this weekend and that song WILL get played acoustically by me at the beginning of our show!

Thanks for sharing that one also Dave! For all those who've served: Thank You For Your Service! I think one of the bigger disappointments in my life was to be left sitting on the bench with a 4F, due to health issues! The level of respect I have for those who've served is incalculable and I sure would have been proud to have earned at least a little bit of that!
          Thanks Again,

            Gene,
Madison Rising is who that was. I believe most of the band are all former military members. They have a lot of music that covers being a service member.
They have also done a great version of the Star Spangle Banner!!!!

Please don't forget that Memorial Day is NOT for veterans, but for those who died in our many wars. Those who NEVER got the chance to be veterans ....

My Uncle Eddie ............................. 1st Lt Edward J. DeLuca, ... KIA July 1944, liberating U.S. soil from the Japanese, on the Island of Guam..

It has been my honor to have been named after him.

Today I will silently honor my friends who served with me in the Marine Corps, during my tour in Vietnam, May 30, 1967 to June 18, 1968, and who also never got the chance to become veterans.
My sadness has never and will never leave me....
