  • Do you suppose???

Some of you know and some dont that my wife's Lupus and COPD started getting worse not long after I traded my Mustang drag car for an 86 Tbird full chassis drag car. So i put most all on hold to care for her. I did finish my 532ci, rebuilt my trans and assembled it all. My wife got worse as each day passed with what time she was not in hospital I was with her beside her bed untill she passed in 2013. I later met a lady who is a companion to me. We tried to do a few things older folks do but then her health started getting worse after I started back trying to get my car going. Then Jan 7th of this year my home burned along with my tools, shop equip. all my electrical components for race car, my assembled never started engine and trans, everything except the car itself was in the fire with no insurance. So I take the car and trailer with what I could salvage to a friends home so it can be looked after, then a storm comes, blows metal off his shop and damages my Tbird a few weeks ago. So do you suppose someone is trying to tell me something??

Yeah, that you’re a man made of steel to survive all that. Sorry you had to go through that, heat and pressure ultimately makes either diamonds or dust.

Bad things happen to good people sometimes.

Now if instead of a T Bird that car would have been a 57 Plymouth, it might be something to look into.

You're likely hearing Geicos the God of insurance.

Funning aside, sorry about your run of bad luck.

              BCR,
You seem to have been blessed with the skills of comforting those you love. As taxing as it may be, embrace your greatness as a human being. There was a wonderful story in the Bible of a man named Job!
