    Yeah, I think with 4 shells it weighs something like 5 1/2 lbs. It's a great pheasant gun where you spend most of the time walking and not much shooting. But when you do get to shoot, it swings nice and is accurate. Just dont shoot trap with it.

      The 870 youth and ladies 20 ga I had for the kids to use when they were younger would beat you senseless as well. I think it has something to do with stock shape (most likely the comb drop) and the presence of short forcing cones. My 20ga O/U weighs right at 6lbs loaded and it shoots like a Nerf gun but the stock is considerably more comfortable and the forcing cones are fairly long.

        The most fun gun I own is a Taurus Raging Bull in .454 Casull. You don't want to shoot it much with full loads but its bug enough is almost looks like a cartoon gun. I can consistently punch paper inside the 8 ring at 100 yards with it.
