I can pull out, that picture doesn’t have my shock tower struts installed anyway, so it’s probably not a good calendar photo.

Mine doesnt have the gas line or any of the wiring hooked up, so dont worry about it Steve. If you hadn't mentioned it I wouldn't have ever noticed it. Those valve covers and the shaker is what gets your attention! .

I'm saving my vote until later so I can study what everyone else likes. That way I can go with the flow or tie everything up!

To tell the truth, I'm having a hard time deciding anyway. All but one are members cars, but that one that isn't is a SOHC! I've got a soft spot for the SOHC motors, know I'll never own one ,but love them just the same. I'm still gonna have to wait to vote, they are all great pics!

No reason for that. I didn't notice the shock tower struts.

If that's a true SOHC, I bet that car is a handful under any kind of acceleration.

I know we have more than 10 active members here, don't we? So, where are their votes? It gets kinda disheartened to put the effort into this, which I enjoy doing by the way, and not get any more than 10 people interested enough to even vote on a pic.

Two more days left to get your votes in.

I'm pretty sure the 427 is an original SOHC. That car has had that engine since the early 2000's if not earlier. I used to work with his son and can remember him saying his dad machined unavailable parts for the timing chain system for that engine and for others. If I remember right he has a collection of them. I'd be alright if you left it as just member vehicles if there ends up being a tie. The original rules didn't state that, which is why I included it. You won't hurt my feelings if that changes. That being said, it's a pretty cool engine!

Rules state any pic as long as it was taken by you, so it's fine. Ties can be broken with a runoff, so it's no big deal, either. It's all in fun!
