  • Busy Couple of Months

Wow. What a busy, busy couple of months that I have had at work.
Talk about running full bore wide open. (EEK)
The Airline that I work for has now transitioned from the old MD-80 (DC-9) to the Airbus A320/A319 aircraft
and did it a year earlier than planed. See the article below:

    https://www.avgeekery.com/17224-2/

Not only have I got to deal with all the parts for the new aircraft, but I also get to deal with old aircraft parts.
    Talk about a double whammie!!!!
Still have another twenty five Airbus to bring into the fleet over the next year. So I will stay busy.
Also have a bunch of MD-80 parts to get rid of. Hello, Delta, do you need any MD-80 parts????
Send me a wish list, please.

We have several complete JT8D's just waiting to be sold. Would you like a rebuilt one or a used one??
Yes, they are huge engines before you even put on the nose cowl or the thrust reverser.
Lots of fun to move with a forklift also!

Steve, we have lots of parts that could be bolted on to a Mustang.
But I wouldn't do it. It would make your Mustang into a bastardized ricer mobile. eeeewwwwww……….
I don't think you want any 42" tires on the rear and 16" on the front.
Hell of a nasty, wagon wheel ride.

Just need the compressor section. I plan to rig up a belt drive off the crank and plumb the compressor to the intake with a custom flange and pump around 3,000 lbs of boost to the 'ol girl. Top Fuel will look like an econo car by the time I'm done. Hold my beer and watch this!
