I usually need to check in every day or so.......to check on KV, Tater, Dennis and the rest of fellas still racing..... I've been at the track, but only as support for my friend who is racing. I wish I could say I was working on my hot rod,,,,, but it still is in the shed, under the cover, sleeping,... waiting for $$ and time to come his way....(sighhh)

Anyone hear from AFret lately? I wonder if he's taken one of his hotrods to the track lately........

This seems to be most of the gang anymore. 70Pony doesn't post much anymore,Afret hasn't been here in ages, many more that I can"t think of. Heck, even Steve has been mia the last few days, or just staying very quiet, not like him at all.

I know it went two or three days with no new posts. Sad.

I’m still around, usually scan the boards 3-4 times a week, but nothing really exciting going on in my life worth posting about.
I did switch jobs last Sept for an office desk job and laptop, so I really have no excuse not to check in.

I am still here. This time of year there are way too many things that take over. Other than that, same old same old and not much exciting or new to post about.

I've been checking in daily lately, I'll try to get to posting some more. I've been rotating driving between by 85 f250 (new engine and trans, see truck forum) and my 68. Been working the bugs out of both of them. Electric fan quit last week in my 68, i was mad for a bit, then remember I put that in in 1999, lol.

I know how you feel, I’ve been mad that the battery in my truck died since the original one lasted 18 years, then I realized that since my truck is now 25, that means I got seven years out of this one and people are telling me they have only been getting 2-3 with theirs these days.

About 3-4 years is normal for a battery for me.

I usually get 5 to 6 years out of a battery but I seem to remember a few that lasted longer. dont get me started about tires, those surely
do not last like they did years ago. it really sux that longevity no longer exists with some items............
